John Knox, Chief Executive Officer
John Knox is the Chief Executive Officer of ActewAGL.
John commenced as Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Icon Water (2014-2018) and during this time held roles on the ActewAGL Joint Venture Board, Icon Water Board and was Deputy Chair of the Water Services Association of Australia.
John has an extensive background in private-sector commercial management. He held the role of Chief Financial Officer at ActewAGL from 2007–2014 and has spent more than fifteen years serving the Canberra community through his work in the utilities sector.
John is a Fellow of CPA Australia, has a Bachelor of Financial Administration, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
